Resize Partition under Linux

Recover Lost Partitions With TestDisk

First always use Partition Magic under Windows XP, but now I used to manage hard drive using GParted (in PartedMagic or PuppyLinux - Thanks so much for Barry Kauler: "I have not found any other linux distro very mini, very useful, up to date , and directly barking, besides PuppyLinux ") to partition the new hard drive, resize partition that is narrow, and backup/copy partitions.

Harddisk Notebook/Netbook Cloning

If the hard drive notebook/netbook you're already full of data, and want to replace the hard drive is more relieved without the help of others and without reinstalling the operating system (eg Windows XP) and all drivers, read the following tips:
1. Check the type of hard drive by going into bios (press F2, F10 or del), IDE or SATA and buy the appropriate (for now quite economical SATA hard drive if I buy a 320GB-500GB)
